You are invited to participate in the Keizer, Oregon two-day art sale event at the City of Keizer’s Civic Center*.  Each artist is invited to bring up to three pieces of art which will be displayed and offered for purchase on Friday & Saturday, February 10 & 11. The Winter Art Sale will be open to the public from noon – 8:00pm on Friday and will open at noon on Saturday and will continue through the evening’s ticketed annual Mayor’s Gala. Much of the Mayor’s Gala is dedicated to the arts and a portion of that night’s proceeds will go to support the arts in Keizer. The Mayor’s Gala begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Tickets to the Gala are available for $20 through the Keizer Chamber of Commerce. It includes wine, beer, appetizers and dessert, the announcement of the winners of the Mayor’s Invitational Art that will hang in the Civic Center for the next year, as well as a silent and live auction. This event will be attended by local dignitaries, businesses and friends of the arts community. It is expected that the Winter Art Sale and Mayor’s Gala will be well-advertised throughout the Marion-Polk county area.

All work must be offered for sale, must be original to the artist and not a reproduction or GicleÌe print. All mediums are welcome. Wall art must be framed with a sturdy wire on the back to facilitate display. Unframed, wrap-around canvas is acceptable only if staples are not visible.  All 2-D work must not exceed 48” X 48” and 3-D work must be freestanding and 50 lbs or less.  (Exceptions to these requirements are only allowed if pre-approved and as space permits.) Each artist can submit up to three entries. A business-sized card must accompany each piece and must provide the title of the piece, the medium, price and name of artist. The card should be professional in appearance as it will be used as the display title card.
