March Show – Around the World – Juried Show (art due February 27, 2013, 3-7 PM)
Travel “Around the World,” near and far; view exotic, beautiful people and places as seen through the eyes of the artist. This show is open to all artists. Entries may be any media 2D and 3D works. Keizer Art Association reserves the right to jury submitted art for suitability and as space limitations mandate. Please refer to show guidelines. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces of work. Each piece entered must have the artist’s name, phone number, medium, dimensions, price and title of the artwork on a card affixed to the back of the piece. Pioneer Mothers Memorial Cabin Benefit Event
The Oregon State Society Daughters of the American Revolution is hosting an art benefit event on April 27,2013. Proceeds will help the needed restoration and move of the Pioneer Mothers Memorial Cabin. The cabin is located in the Champoeg area and has a special mission to serve children through living history activities.

Call to KAA Artists

Keizer Art Association is sponsoring an artists’ booth at Keizer RIVERfair 2011, Saturday, August 13, in which KAA artists are able to show and sell their work. KAA has reserved four 10’x10’ booth spaces and will have display grids for hanging artwork and tables to accommodate 3-D work, card displays, etc. If you would like to display your art at this family-fun celebration, contact KAA at 503-390-3010 or email: gitti4art@comcast.net between July 23 and August 8. Keizer RIVERfair is held at Keizer Rapids Park at the west end of Chemawa Road in Keizer, OR.

Important dates to remember:

Register to Participate – Saturday, July 23 through Monday, August 8. Commitment fee must be paid by August 8. See ‘Fees and Requirements’ for additional information about the commitment fee.
Art is Due – Saturday, August 13, 8:00 – 9:00 AM at KAA RIVERfair Booth
Art Pick-up – Saturday, August 13, 8:00 – 9:00 PM at KAA RIVERfair Booth.

Fees and Requirements:

$10 commitment fee due upon registration – this fee will be applied toward your entry fee when artwork is delivered. You can pay your commitment fee on-line at www.keizerarts.com, mail or drop off your check to KAA. If paying by check please include the following information: Name of artist, contact information, ‘RIVERfair commitment fee’ with your check.
$10 for up to 5 pieces
Artists receive 80% of sales
Maximum size limit is 24”x24”
Wall art must have hanging wire. Pieces without hanging wire will be rejected.
Each entry must have title card (business card size) with: Title, Medium, Artist Name and price
Artists who enter artwork may also offer for sale note cards, magnets, unframed art, prints and related work – limit 20 for each type of item. The artist should provide his/her own display for these items. Each item must have your initials and price. A separate entry fee is not required for these but a 20% commission will be retained by KAA for each sale. The display unit must be labeled with artist’s name.

Water, Water Everywhere

For the month of April, Keizer Art Association invites artists to exhibit their work that explores water in its various forms and through a variety of mediums and interpretations. From scenic waterfalls, rivers, wetlands, oceans to the life within water…it is open to your interpretation.
