The Civic Center for the City of Keizer offers an exciting opportunity to showcase approximately 20 pieces of wall art by Northwest artists. The pieces will hang from February 12, 2012 through January, 2013. The call is open to all Northwest artists and all mediums are welcome. Framing and matting must be professional in appearance. Frames that use glass must use Plexiglas for safety purposes, rather than regular glass. Art hung in this facility will be exposed to natural light and UV protective, non-glare Plexiglas can be used at the artist’s discretion. Unframed art must have edges that are professional in appearance and staples cannot be visible. Freestanding work is not being accepted at this time. Hanging wire is required on all pieces. Please note all requirements as they will be strictly adhered to.
