KAA is preparing for upcoming elections and at this time has two board positions that have recently opened up: Treasurer and a Director-at-Large.
- Treasurer is a board position and one of the officers of the organization. We hire an accountant to manage our finances but there are specific duties that need to be attended to in a timely manner. No knowledge of QuickBooks is needed, but attention to detail, organization, and basic math skills would be required.
- Director-at-Large would participate in board related events & duties, but would currently not have an assigned role; as they become comfortable on the KAA board, their position or role would evolve.

The deadline to inquire is November 10, 2026. Ballots will be sent out on November 11, 2026 with a slate of positions that will need approval by the membership. The deadline to return ballots is November 30, 2026. Results will be revealed at the December First Tuesday Meet-Up on December 1, 2026.
