Carol graduated from OSU in Education and Art, and then went on to receive a master’s degree in Extreme Learning Problems in Children from WOU. She then married, had a daughter, taught school for 31 years, became a cherry farmer, and then a hay farmer, acquired a huge horse, became a 4-H Leader and Polk County 4-H Horse Superintendent, sailed many waters, skied European mountains, joined Keizer Art Association, and best of all, became a Grandma.
Carol Harris has been KAA Secretary and Education Chair since 2005 and is responsible for hiring instructors to teach classes and developing the art program. She also teaches Colored Pencil at KAA.
Carol was born in Baker, Oregon. She now lives in the county West of Salem where she grows hay for horses. Interests include family, art, traveling, gardening, horses, dogs, volunteering, and best-of-all playing with grandkids Ben and Addilyn.
