KAA is happy to announce that we are expanding "Free Open Studio" in response to our members' requests. We are offering medium-focused and open-sessions. Please plan on attending these sessions to interact with other artists. This is a great opportunity to informally share techniques and to learn from each other.

Currently Scheduled Open Studio Sessions

Any Medium

Fridays 1:00PM - 5:00PM

This is an Open Studio where artists can work on their medium of choice. Artists are encouraged to gather, socialize, share art experiences and techniques.

Watercolor

Second and Fourth Thursdays 10:00AM -12:00PM

This Watercolor Open Studio is a great opportunity to work on watercolor paintings, share techniques, and to learn from each other. Join other watercolor artists for mornings of creativity, socializing, and fun.

Woodcarving

First and Third Thursdays 9:00AM - 1:00PM

These sessions are focused on wildfowl carving but non bird carvers and pyrographers are welcome to join in. This is a great opportunity to gather with other carvers.

If you are a KAA member and would like to oversee or recommend an Open Studio session focused on another medium, please let us know. Possible areas of focus include but are not limited to: Acrylics, Watercolor, Drawing, Photography, Fabric Art, Stippling, Collage, Digital Art, etc.

We will try to accomodate our members' needs.
