As a classical violinist, violist and fiddler, many of my paintings manifest the joy of music. Having been a caregiver since 2011 I tend to paint for therapeutic value as well, releasing my emotional turmoil on the canvas. Vivid colors, motion of music and intuition guide me as I paint or draw; I hope that you, the observer, will briefly enter my world on the canvas and find some meaningful interpretation for you to take away. You might even perhaps shed a bit of any bothersome negativity! In the past year several of my works have been honored with awards at adjudicated KAA Shows, and ‘Sakura Violin’ was a finalist in the Salem Library’s 2021 ‘Reading Colors Your World Art Contest’. January through Feb. of 2022 my paintings will be exclusively shown at the invitational ‘Survivor Showcase’ at The Salem Hospital, Bldg C. If you like my style, some of my originals are available for purchase, and occasionally some prints and cards. Thank-you for visiting my KAA member page.
