Artist's Statement

Art has no meaning if it doesn't stir our emotions.

From the first petroglyphs to modern times, man has used our senses of sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell as a direct conduit to our emotions.

Because of musicians, photographers, painters, poets, bakers, and weavers (the list is endless), we can experience the emotional wonders of Art.

My paintings are not about how good my techniques are or how well I follow the rules. If it triggers an emotion for the observer, then it is good.
